  • Did You Know that if you do a controlled burn on your property, you should call a member of the South Pigeon Lake  Fire Department and inform them of the date, time, location and what you are burning.

We have received numerous calls during controlled burns without being informed they were a controlled burn. Thus we have to treat them like regular fires in which a fee is levied.

If you blatantly  perform an act that is in contravention of the Alberta fire code, and                  we get called, you will get a bill.

Rates: $400.00 per hour per truck if you get billed.
